Black Ops 2: Uprising arrives on April 16th on Xbox Live first, with other platforms to follow soon after. 

Take a behind-the-scenes look at "Uprising," the second DLC Map Pack available for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.

Uprising includes four new Multiplayer maps (Magma, Encore, Vertigo, and Studio, a reimagining of the classic map Firing Range), as well as the frightening new Zombies adventure, "Mob of the Dead."

Before the Ravens and the 49ers battle it out in New Orleans, you can show off your team pride on the battle fields of Call of Duty.

We chose the classic 49ers logo and for the Ravens, we decided to go with their alternate front-facing raven logo. Credit where credit is due: Vindictive Gaming was the inspiration behind this Ravens logo, although we took the design in our own direction.

Treyarch is on the verge of releasing the first DLC expansion pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and with it comes this brand new trailer.

You see, when Black Ops 2's Revolution DLC launches next week, you're going to want to spend even more time playing the game than you already do. As Treyarch points out in this trailer, that can be a bit of a problem when you factor things like 'being a dad' and 'going to work' into the mix. How can you be playing Call of Duty if you're supposed to be mowing the law out back?

Treyarch thinks they have the answer; The Replacer. Check it out above and see for yourself. Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Revolution DLC is set to release on January 29th on Xbox 360. More dates to be revealed for other platforms.

Call of Duty has become much more than a game franchise, it's a global phenomenon. As developers strive to take the game to the next level each year, sometimes a handful of quirks get left by the wayside.

To be honest, sometimes they just flat out don't make sense. Tomahawk + toe hit = instant death? Makes sense...if you follow a different line of logic than the rest of the world. Our own Crazy Penguin has dubbed this 'COD Logic', which we think Webster would defined thus:

The method of reasoning applied particularly to anomalies found in Activision's Call of Duty video game franchise.

Example:
"For shame, sirrah, that Tomahawk struck me upon my knee...why have I perished?"
