Crysis 3 is all about speed and power and in this guide, we're going to help you understand why staying mobile is so crucial to succeed in Crysis 3 Multiplayer.
As the video above illustrates, focusing on your players maneuverability serves a handful of purposes. To start with, it guarantees that you are a harder target to nail down. You only have to play Crysis 3 for a few minutes to realize that accurately targeting and shooting an enemy who is jumping, sprinting and mantling like a phenom is next to impossible.
On top of that, you have the added benefit of being able to surprise enemies by power jumping to high up areas where you can spring a trap from above. Sneak onto over-hanging ledges to pick off enemies below. By the time they figure out where you even are, you should be able to finish them off.
Be aware, however, that maneuverability is only one aspect of a great Crysis 3 player. You'll also have to master stealth, accurate shooting and a variety of other factors that we will be covering in future guides.
That's it for now, watch the video above and remember; you must become the Bunny Warrior.
There can be only one.
Crysis 3 tells the story of Prophet, a character who was featured prominently in both Crysis and Crysis 2. We contemplated how to best set this walkthrough up without spoiling Crysis or Crysis 2 for our readers, but ultimately it was futile. So, be warned: tread carefully, here be spoilers.
Crysis 2 ended with Alcatraz and Prophet essentially becoming one, with Prophet seeming to have left a part of his own self inside the Nanosuit that Alcatraz has been using. Such it is that when Pyscho pulls Prophet from containment, he doesn't even really know who he's talking to. Is this Alcatraz or has Prophet truly returned? Is it some sort of amalgamation of the two?
This much is clear; Prophet is our only hope. The only being on earth that has the power to stop CELL and end this thing once and for all. Ultimately, however, Prophet has other plans in mind. He needs to track down the Alpha-Ceph, the creature that is controlling the hive mind of the Ceph. The stark visions of the future that Prophet keeps reliving have been planted there by the Alpha-Ceph and Prophet means to find it and destroy it, whatever it is.
Crysis 3's campaign spans across 7 missions:
If you find yourself stuck at any point in the campaign, or if you're just curious how things play out in Crysis 3's singleplayer campaign, we have a full visual walkthrough for you.

Crysis 3 multiplayer has a wealth of game modes from classic deathmatch to objective-based matches. As with any good, competitive shooter, there is something for everyone in Crysis 3. If you like going solo, jump into a match of Instant Action and shoot anything that moves. Other players enjoy a little objective in their killing and that's why Crytek made Crash Site.
Brand new to Crysis 3 is Hunter, a game mode that will be familiar to many die hard first-person shooter fans.
If you've played the community mod known as Infected or Michael Myers or Zombies that has been a staple in the modding community for many first-person shooters, you'll be right at home in Hunter. The catch here, however, is that whenever the Hunter scores a kill, that player will then spawn as a Hunter themselves.
The premise is simple; one player spawns as the Hunter, armed only with the lethal Predator bow and an enhanced Nanosuit.
It is up to them to track down everyone else who has spawned as CELL troopers. The match ends when everyone has been converted to Hunter or the time limit expires, scoring a victory for the Hunted.

In Crysis 3, players have access to the Nanosuit in both single player and multiplayer game modes. This super powerful exoskeletal armor turns the player into a living, breathing supersoldied capable of massive jumps, sustaining falls from dozens of feet in the air and so much more.
In competitive multiplayer, it's up to you to customize your Nanosuit upgrades to augment the way you play the game.
These upgrades come in three categories:
Nanosuit modules have three tiers to them. When you first use a module, you will only have one tier unlocked. After spending some time with it and completing objectives based on the module, you will eventually unlock the second tier and so forth. In some cases the second tier is simply an increased version of the first tier, but in many cases it actually causes the Nanosuit module to do something new in addition to the initial tier.
For example, Weapon Pro tier 1 helps you reload faster while tier 2 actually has you aim down the sights faster. This is contrary to Armor Transfer where you earn 10% energy per kill at tier 1. In tier 2, that number simply increases to 25% energy per kill when you get to tier 2.

Use the navigation at the top to learn everything you need to know about the explosives in Crysis 3!
In this section, we'll take a look at the handheld and launched explosives you can use in Crysis 3's competitive multiplayer mode. Explosives are available on every class and should be used appropriately. Let's take a look at each of them and some good uses for them outside of 'chucking aimlessly' and 'fragging noobs'.

In Crysis 3, each class consists of several customizable categories. These include:
For the purpose of this guide, we're focusing on explosives so go aheaed and ignore all those other things.
Explosives come in many forms but they all have one thing in common; they explode. Sometimes smoke comes out, sometimes your enemies are blinded but always there is an explosion of some sort and usually your target ends up dead not long after. Every explosive has a different purpose and function, so without further ado let's take a look at them.

Use the navigation at the top to learn everything you need to know about the secondary weapons in Crysis 3!
In this section, we'll take a look at the secondary weapons you can use in Crysis 3's competitive multiplayer mode. Secondaries are your back-up weapon when your primary weapon runs out of ammo or if you want to finish someone off quickly between reloads. Let's take a look at some good, general tips to keep in mind when it comes to your secondary gun.

Secondary weapons come in the form of semi-automatic pistols and machine pistols. These weapons don't pack as much of a punch as your primary weapon, but they're not intended to. The magazines in most sidearms are pretty small, usually holding 16 or fewer bullets before you have to reload.
The sidearms in Crysis 3 come in three major styles:
Semi-Auto Pistol - These are single fire weapons, meaning that you're only going to get one round off each time you pull the trigger. The upside to that, however, is that you can fire them as quickly as you are able to press the button.
Machine Pistols - Firing in full-auto mode, machine pistols are pretty inaccurate, generally speaking, but sometimes it doesn't matter. These weapons are able to get off a large amount of firepower very quickly.
Revolvers - These are the big dogs in the world of sidearms. Generally having massive recoil, revolvers pack the most punch of any sidearm. The learning curve takes a bit to get used to, but once you do, you will be able to take down enemies at full health in just a few shots.

Use the navigation at the top to learn everything you need to know about the sniper rifles in Crysis 3!
In this section, we'll take a look at the light machine guns from Crysis 3's competitive multiplayer mode. Before we proceed, however, let's take a look at what light machine guns (LMGs) are designed to be used for and how you will best succeed in Crysis 3 with this weapon type.

Sniper Rifles are great for players who aren't as interested in getting their hands dirty in the thick of the main battle. Grab a sniper rifle and find a spot high up, with a great vantage area in front of you.
In terms of accuracy and stopping power, sniper rifles are unrivaled. If you are efficient with them, sniper rifles will usually take your target down in a single shot but, if not, you can almost always squeeze off a second round before they even know where you are. Coupling sniper rifles with stealth suit modules can be a lethal combination, but more on that later. The downside to sniper rifles, of course, is that you are at a complete disadvantage at close, and occasionally mid, ranges. Don't be tempted into running around the map with your sniper rifle, trying to use it while you're mobile. This isn't Call of Duty, this is Crysis and sniper rifles don't work like that here.
This class of weapons is home to the much-anticipated Predator Bow, as well.
Recommended Nanosuit modules when using sniper rifles are:

Use the navigation at the top to learn everything you need to know about the light machine guns in Crysis 3!
In this section, we'll take a look at the light machine guns from Crysis 3's competitive multiplayer mode. Before we proceed, however, let's take a look at what light machine guns (LMGs) are designed to be used for and how you will best succeed in Crysis 3 with this weapon type.
Light machine guns are a heavier, fully-automatic alternative to assault rifles and submachine guns. You're going to get the accuracy and range of an assault rifle, with the added bonus of having a much larger ammunition capacity. Where assault rifles will max out at 30 rounds or so per magazine, an LMG will usually have over 100. There are a few things to note with that, though.
First, the LMG is going to take far longer to reload so don't do it until you are actually out of ammunition. If you feel you must reload early, make sure you're not in an area where you can be ambushed because you can't fire while reloading. The second thing to note is that there is a major movement penalty when using LMGs, making your character much heavier and slower than other weapons.
If you can get past these quirks, LMGs are a great option for your everyday weapon. Mid- to long-range fighting is going to be a breeze and when you can lay down as much firepower as this, you're in a great position to play a support role.
Attachments come in the form of additional scopes, muzzle brakes and extended magazines. To our knowledge, Hologram Decoys are not available on LMGs.
Use the navigation at the top to learn everything you need to know about the shotguns in Crysis 3!
In this section, we'll take a look at the shotguns from Crysis 3's competitive multiplayer mode. Before we proceed, however, let's take a look at what shotguns are designed to be used for and how you will best succeed in Crysis 3 with this weapon type.

Shotguns are your classic go-to weapon for people who like to run 'n' gun. They aren't going to do you a bit of good at mid- to long-ranges, as you'll just end up looking like a fish out of water, floundering helplessly on the dock. You know, if fish had arms and could use guns the wrong way.
In Crysis 3, shotguns behave exactly as you would expect them to. They excel at close quarters with extremely high damage, middling accuracy and no range whatsoever. If your target isn't pretty much within 10 feet of your character, get closer before you shoot. Most shotguns have a reasonably small ammunition capacity per magazine, but as it typically takes an accurate shooter one attempt to take down the target, that shouldn't be a problem.
Attachments come in the form of laser and reflex sights, hologram projectors and muzzle brakes, which serve to increase your overall stability with the weapon by two points or so.
Couple shotguns with suit modules like Auto Armor, Phantom and Maneuverability to build a class that will let you quickly repel enemy bullets and slip in and out of stealth mode at a faster movement speed. This can be a lethal class and should be named accordingly. Might we recommend Dragon Ninja? The choice is yours, but think about it.
Okay, Dragon Ninja it is!
