Learning patience in any first-person shooter is important and will ultimately help you step up your performance and take things to the next level. This is particularly important in The War Z.
As our own Crazy Penguin says:
Take your time, scan your surroundings. Take it down a notch and play smart. When you don’t play patient you can easily put yourself in situations that aren’t safe, and will most likely get you killed. You’ll see what I mean soon.
I find myself running from building to building and only briefly looking out through binoculars from time to time. If you truly want to survive in the War Z it’s smart to find yourself a nice vantage point, pay attention to where people might be coming from, read chat and sit tight for a little bit. People can spend abnormally long times in buildings picking up loot and rearranging their inventory.
Former War Z moderator, DevinH, has come clean about a post he made recently on popular forum 4Chan.
In his original post, Devin went to great lengths to bash War Z developer Hammerpoing Interactive, as well as their integrity in development. The post was scathing, to say the least. Among other allegations, Devin stated that Hammerpoint would halt development on The War Z if it didn't start turning enough of a profit for the team.
Well, as things turn out, DevinH was lying. All of his comments were baseless and false, and he has no come clean. Check out the video above to learn the truth.

This is a quick tutorial on how to find the Holdout Barn in The War Z. This barn is clearly designed to be a place where players can post up in to hold out against enemy players or zombies.
With firing slits in the windows and only one entrance to speak of, the Holdout Barn can be defended for days with just two or three players. In this video, we show you how to find the barn and what you can expect when you arrive.
This is a quick tutorial on how to find a downed chopper in The War Z. If you've been having a hard time finding weapons in the game, this chopper is a great way to equip yourself with something more substantial than your flashlight.
Looting the chopper isn't a surefire way to find weapons, some players report there being no weapons here, but we have had great success searching here for a gun.
