Battlefield 3's upcoming DLC expansion Close Quarters is set to launch in June of this year, and DICE has begun the promotional process, showing off Donya Fortress - one of the maps in the expansion.
One of the aspects of Donya Fortress that we're really looking forward to is the sheer volume of destructability. Destroying structures and chipping away at cover is nothing new to Battlefield 3 but the way that DICE has utilized the power of Frosbite 2 in Donya Fortress is nothing short of awesome. Rubble is constantly flying in your face during the trailer and the sense of being in the middle of a close quarters skirmish, where every shot counts, really comes to the fore.
