Battlefield 3 developer DICE has announced that they will be bringing two of the three DLC expansions for the game to E3 this year, and they will be playable!
The first DLC is one that we know quite a bit about - Close Quarters. This expansion is due out in just a couple weeks, perhaps sooner if rumors are to be believed. This expansion brings the combat in and does away with the broad, sprawling maps that Battlefield fans have become accustomed to. The combat on these maps will be much tighter than players are used to so be prepared to adjust your play style.
Armored Kill is the second DLC expansion that the studio is bringing with them to E3, and while we don't know much about it, we know that it will be heavily vehicle-based.
Both DLC expansions will be on display in playable form at E3 in Los Angeles, California. Be sure to bookmark FPSGeneral.com as we'll be bringing you FPS news straight from the show floor at the Los Angeles Convention Center!
