Hot on the heels of our Hyperion Weapons spotlight, we bring you a full analysis of another weapons maker from the world of Borderlands 2. Bandit weapons might have a significant lack of Handsome Jack, but don't let that trick you into thinking that Bandit lacks the ingenuity and wherewithal to produce some pretty badass weapons.
Bandit specializes in never reloading. Like ever. Their weapons have all been custom designed to have extremely large magazine capacity, resulting in you putting more lead down on your enemies before having to both with petty things like reloading your rifle.
If you're shopping Bandit, you're looking at a wider array of weapon choices than Hyperion. Bandit produces shotguns, assault rifles, rocket launchers, pistols and submachine guns.
Without further ado, let's take a look at some of the fine Bandit weaponry you'll find in Pandora.
Shotguns
While Bandit boasts tremendous magazine size, you wouldn't think that this would carry over to shotguns, right? Shotguns are typically known for having smaller magazines, but dealing huge amounts of damage. Not so with Bandit, however. The smallest shotgun magazine lives inside the Redy Stedy Stret Sweper (yes, that's how it really is spelled), holding 10 rounds and dealing some hefty damage.
Other shotguns include the Duble Bareld RokSalt, the Hunting Longer ragne killer, the Quik Loadeder Room Clener and a classified shotgun known only as the Sketer Teeth of Terramorphous. Their weapons might destroy your enemies quickly and cleanly, but speeling isnt ther strong soot.
Bandit shotguns range from $1,259 to upwards of $1 million with the Sketer Teeth of Terramorphous.

Pistols
The pistols that Bandit produces exemplify the huge magazine size that Bandit is so proud of. Hands down, Bandit pistols possess the largest magazine sizes on a one-handed weapon in Borderlands 2.
Some of them even offer drum magazines, something typically found on much heavier arms.
The folks at Bandit only have a wealth of pistols to offer, including the bandity Pistol, the misles Pistol, the Dubble Gub and the murderer's Tinderbox. These range in price from $634 to $51,495.
The Tinderbox and Dubble Gub deal Fire and Corrosive damage respectively, as well.
Like most Bandit weapons, the reload times on these pistols can be a bit slow but ideally your enemies will be taken care of before you have to bother with reloading.
SMGs
Bandit SMGs are everything that a good submachine gun should be. High rate of fire, mid-range accuracy and a wealth of bullets in the magazine. Spray 'n' pray at its finest, basically. Several of Bandit's SMGs do elemental damage as well, which is a nice bonus and something that Hyperion wasn't heavy on.
A handful of the available SMGs from Bandit include: the Zapper Bone Shredder, Murduring Slagga, Bulets Go Fasterified Acurate smgg, Cuting smig, Murduring Slagy and, of course, the Jery Riged Smig. These SMGs range in price from $1,122 all the way up to $175,252.
If you're looking to lay down an ungodly amount of lead on your enemies with mild to nonexistent accuracy, you'll want to go Bandit.
Launchers
Bandit offers multiple launchers, but how many variations do you really need? It fires rockets. The rockets go boom. The enemies blow up. It's not...rocket...science. Or is it?
Some of the launchers that Bandit has on offering include the fast actons bombabarbardeer, the Roket Pawket Badaboom and the gratuitius Roaster. All of these launches boast incredibly high damage, reasonably low magazine size and very slow reload times. Make your shots count, because you're not going to want to be caught reloading these guys.
Incidentally, most of these launchers fire more than one rocket simultaneously although we can't speak for the roket Pawket Badaboom as it is classified intel at this time.
Assault Rifles
Bandit assault rifles follow the same credo as the rest of Bandit's arsenal; huge magazines and mildly accurate at best.
If you're looking for an assault rifle that will give you the option of firing arbitrarily without worrying too much about how many bullets you have left, Bandit's assault rifles will be a great choice for you.
They aren't the most accurate rifles in the world, and certainly don't have the authority of Hyperion's stabilizer systems, but they'll get the job done.
Some of the available assault rifles from Bandit include the Taktikal Spinigun, the bandity Machine Gun, the greesy Mashine Gun, the Nassty Rokets! and the Wyld Ass Madhous!
The Nassty Rokets actually fires mini-rockets instead of traditional assault rifle rounds, so there's that.
As you can see, Bandit has a diverse collection of weapons that you can acquire in Borderlands 2. All of them tend to support Bandit's philosophy of building weapons with massive ammo capacities. Even the launchers carry 10 projectiles before you have to reload, granted they do fire multiple rockets at a time.
Bandit is proud of the weapons that they produce. If you need any proof, just remember that all Bandit weapons come with an exclusive No Money Back Guarantee.

Posted 9/14/2012 2:11:57 PMLike I said, you're not doing basic research. One of the main selling points of Borderlands is "billions of guns" because most of them are randomly generated.

Posted 12/13/2012 12:37:34 AMAnd are you saying you can write better? Then please go ahead, write one and post a link here so we can see your much greater researched article. Since no articles so far out there seems to have all the brands weapon parts described, I much prefer it if you include all the brands weapon parts as well.

Posted 9/12/2012 3:20:18 AMJust A heads up to the author of this article, For all your future articles please note that in fact each manufacturer DOES produce more than 4 or 5 weapon types. Chris F of gearbox studios confirmed this fact in this forum post: http://forums.gearboxsoftware.com/showthread.php?p=2736040#post2736040

Posted 9/12/2012 4:02:29 PMHm, interesting. Gearbox providing us information for these stories which directly counters that interview. I've amended the articles to express that these are not all-encompassing lists but rather a sample of what the weapons makers are producing.

Posted 12/13/2012 12:46:58 AMBy 'more than 4 or 5 weapon types' I think he meant the E-tech weapons. They are classified as the same weapons here (smg, pistol, sniper rifle, etc) but 'E-tech' changes their behavior and performance drastically. The image used under 'shotgun' is an E-tech shotgun rather than a regular bandit one.
Oh by the way, is it me, or is an image of the same shotgun is posted under 'SMGs' sub-title?
