Borderlands 2 has been out for just 13 days, but already there is talk beginning to circle on a potential follow-up installment. While Borderlands 2 has certainly had more than its fair share of favorable reviews, we'll be the first to admit that the last thing on our minds has been a Borderlands 3.
With the game just two weeks old, and us nowhere near completing everything the game has to offer, we've been happily content to enjoy Borderlands 2 before beginning the drooling process on Borderlands 3 - a game that wasn't even confirmed to be happening until this past weekend.
Lead Writer Anthony Burch, however, has admitted that the team at Gearbox has begun throwing ideas out about what they want to see in Borderlands 3, the direction they want to take the game in. This might seem hasty, but chances are this is more or less just a few developers bouncing ideas off of each other as they start to read community feedback on the latest Borderlands game.
At any rate, we'd be hard pressed to find someone who wouldn't be interested in Borderlands 3 but, for our money, we're looking forward to checking out the promised DLC packs before we start dreaming about the next installment in the franchise.
