Call of Duty's official website has been updated, all but confirming that 2012's Call of Duty release will be Black Ops 2 - something that we've speculated about for quite some time.

The website now features a host of monitors, nearly all of which look like the image above. It looks like Activision and Treyarch will be leaking out bits of information surrounding Black Ops 2 leading up to the May 1st reveal which - as per usual - will take place during the NBA Playoffs on TNT. Double clicking each monitor will enlarge it and while most of them display a static 'Classified' image, some of them also have a date confirming that the content will unlock on a specified date starting on April 24th and leading up to April 30th, with the world premiere happening the following day on May 1st.

Interestingly, one of the images appears to have already unlocked but we're at a loss deciphering it. We put it to the community now, and welcome speculation. The image can be found below - feel free to download it and run it through the mill on your photo processing software. We sure did, but aside from what appears to be a figure, we can't make heads or tails of it. Click the image below to expand to full resolution.

Update: Our very own Nickoli002 has done some expert sleuth work and has cleared the delcassified image up quite a bit. It appears to be a male figure on the left, beneath some sort of structure. We're beginning to wonder if the intel that is set to declassify starting on April 24th is going to unveil more and more of this image as time goes on. Is this just the first piece of the puzzle?
