The moment is finally here! After a solid week of speculation, Black Ops 2 has officially been announced, unveiled and dated at November 13th, 2012.
The game takes place in a near future setting and at least one familiar face is returning to the next game. Frank Woods, that iconic badass from the original Black Ops, returns in some form as he is the narrator in the trailer above. Woods (spoilers ahead) was believed to be dead or imprisoned at Hanoi in Vietnam at the end of Black Ops so we can't wait to see what he went through to get to where he's at today.
The premise of the game is that mankind has created an arsenal of weaponry, vehicles and gadgets but, as Woods puts it, nobody thought to ask, "What happens when the enemy steals the keys?" Some of this unparalleled weaponry seems to be being put to use against us, rather than for us and a major conflict has arisen.
