Activision has grabbed up a double handful of domain names in China, pertaining to the Call of Duty world in both Modern Warfare and Black Ops brands.
Fusible, the domain watchdog, has the full list of domain names that the publisher has registered, which includes:
- blackopschina.com
- blackopschina.net
- blackopsonline.net
- bochina.net
- callofdutychina.com
- callofdutychina.net
- modernwarfarechina.com
- modernwarfarechina.net
The question now, of course, is whether or not this has anything to do with the free to play Call of Duty game that we know China will be getting exclusively or if this is a brand new project entirely. We'll keep an eye on future updates, so be sure to check back in with us in the future!
