Activision has announced that this weekend, the multiplayer portion of their record-breaking first-person shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be free to play on Steam for those who haven't given it a chance yet.
If you haven't played Modern Warfare 3 on PC, this weekend will be a great chance to check out one of the most replayable games in history. The multiplayer portion of Modern Warfare 3 includes the 16 original multiplayer maps and over 30 various rifles, launchers, sidearms and other weaponry. The game features a wide variety of multiplayer modes, some familiar and some brand new to Modern Warfare 3, including Kill Confirmed - a game mode in which you must collect players dog tags after you kill them in order to confirm the kill and score a point for your team.
