West, Zampella Settle Their Lawsuit With Activision

Jason West and Vince Zampella have been waging legal war with Activision for the past few years, the long battle has finally come to a close.

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that, "All parties have reached a settlement in the dispute, the terms of which are strictly confidential." The initial spat occurred after Modern Warfare 2 launched, with allegations being thrown out on both sides. According to West and Zampella, they were ousted by Activision wrongfully and before all of the money due to them was paid out. Activision, on the other hand, claims that West and Zampella breached their contract with the help of Electronic Arts.

At any rate, the lawsuit is settled, closed and done with. Can we all get back to what actually matters now? The games! West and Zampella's new studio - Respawn Entertainment - has been working on a super secret project for the past couple years and we're more than excited to finally learn what they've been up to.

Hopefully, with the legal matters behind them, Respawn Entertainment will be able to focus 100% on their game and Activision will be able to focus completely on their game, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2.
