It is no surprise to say that Crysis 3 is going to be a gorgeous game. CryEngine 3 and the passionate team at Crytek would stand for nothing less. Just the same, however, it's great to see some concept art to reaffirm that fact.
The original Crysis became synonymous with high-powered PC gaming. "Sure, you can play Call of Duty on ultra settings...but can it run Crysis?" The tropical environments in the game were nothing short of breathtaking. When Crysis 2 came along, we were once again impressed with the atmosphere - this time in the form of a crumbling New York City. In Crysis 3, we're getting the best of both previous games. New York City has been encased in a Nanodome, causing the streets and buildings to be overrun with tropical vegetation (as seen in the artwork above).
