Speculation has been arising lately as to whether Crytek will be bringing their upcoming first-person shooter Crysis 3 to Nintendo's Wii U console. Here to quell that speculation is Nick Button-Brown, General Manager at Crytek with just about the most adorable surname imaginable.
Speaking on Twitter, Button-Brown said:
Just to answer the speculation, we are not currently working on a wiiU version of

He basically couldn't have made that any more cut and dried for us. Crysis 3 is not in development for the Wii U. He does say 'not currently', however, which opens the discussion as to whether Crytek will eventually port over Crysis 3 once the Wii U has launched and established itself as a popular home gaming console.
Based on the beautiful screenshots we've seen of the game and the interactive trailer Crytek released last month, we're thinking that Crysis 3 might be something you'll want to play on a PC, anyway.
