Visceral Games has released a massive video update for Dead Space 3, bringing raw gameplay with narration by Dead Space 3 Executive Producer Steve Papoutsis.

The gameplay, which clocks in at over 20 minutes, will undoubtedly bring a bit of reassurance to folks who were in doubt after seeing the game at E3. Something we love about Dead Space, and that a lot of players seem to enjoy as well, is the eerie, dark environments in the previous games. When we saw Dead Space 3 at E3, it looked like Tau Volantis - the ice planet that the game takes place on - would be too open to allow for that sort of quiet, false sense of security that we enjoyed in previous games.

After watching the gameplay, however, we can see that there are still those trademark Dead Space 3 environments and that Visceral hasn't abandoned ship on those aspects of the franchise. Check it out for yourself embedded above! Be sure to drop by our Dead Space 3 hub for more on the upcoming game.
