Far Cry 3

Ubisoft Pushing Back Far Cry 3 to December

Ubisoft has announced that their upcoming shooter Far Cry 3 will not be releasing in September, as previously announced. The game has been moved back to a December release date, instead. Players who were looking forward to battling their way across Far Cry 3's insane island will have to wait just a bit longer, as Ubisoft puts the finishing touches on the game.

As Far Cry 3 Producer, Dan Hay, puts it:

We're taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience. Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.

Far Cry 3 will now hit shelves on November 29th in Europe, and December 4th in North America...

Ubisoft has not commented on whether this will affect the multiplayer beta that they have scheduled, but we'll be sure to update when we learn more.

In the meantime, be sure to check out our Far Cry 3 forums to discuss the game with other Far Cry fans!
