Red 5 Studios has announced that they will be bringing Firefall to Gamescom in Cologne, Germany next month but not the version of the game that many are playing in closed beta.
The studio is going to be bringing an updated version of Firefall, with a ton of new features and enhancements that make the game even more exciting, hoping to impress the crowd at Gamescom. Listed in the press release, some of the updates features include, 'new tier-based character progression, a new resource mining and crafting system, the new Garage and customizable loadout system, the ground-breaking Firefall eSports toolkit, and the latest open world and PvP content that includes new areas and dynamic events.'
In addition to the updated version of the game, Red 5 Studios has teamed up with the Electronic Sports League (ESL) to host a Firefall beta tournament, with 10k Euros in prize money being offered up.
