The (sometimes bitter) rivalry between Electronic Arts and Activision is gearing up once again, as always seems to happen this time of year.
Earlier this week, Activision announced that they would be unveiling a brand new trailer for Black Ops 2 during on May 19th during the UEFA Champions League Final. The trailer is a chance for European fans to have their time in the spotlight, as the first trailer for Black Ops went live during the American-broadcast NBA Playoff game.
Not to be outdone, EA has announced that they would be unveiling a brand new trailer for Medal of Honor: Warfighteron May 19th during the UEFA...well, you get where we're going. Both EA and Activision will be launching new trailers for their upcoming shooters during the same football match on the same channels to the same viewers.
If this is how the marketing battle commences this year, we can't wait to see what's next.
We'll have both trailer up here on FPSGeneral.com when they go live on the Internet, presumably around the time they're set to air on Sky Sports 1.
