The War Z is available for pre-order now, and doing so will give you a chance to be included in the closed beta testing which is projected to being later this Summer. Check out http://www.thewarz.com/ for more information on pre-ordering the game.
Interestingly, The War Z is being touted as the world's first zombie survival MMO, apparently disregarding the popular ARMA 2 mod DayZ as nothing more than a community-developed modification.
