Hammerpoint Interactive has launched a brand new website for their upcoming zombie MMO The War Z, providing some more information on the game as well as a handful of new screenshots from the game.
The open world game is really starting to look like something pretty special, and we can't wait to eventually get some hands on time with the game. The new website reveals a ton of information, although not all of the details are new - particularly not for those of you who read our story on the interview that Sergey Titov - Executive Producer on The War Z - gave last month.
The features that we are most excited about in The War Z nclude the open-world environment, the promise of free content updates and zero subscriptions, the ability to select a character and customize them through your experiences in the game world (with no level caps or restrictions) and, yes, the ability to quickly and seamlessly find your friends in the huge, persistent game world. Something that DayZ decidedly struggles with at the moment.

Interestingly, The War Z is being touted as the world's first zombie survival MMO, apparently disregarding the popular ARMA 2 mod DayZ as nothing more than a community-developed modification.
