Tribes: Ascend

FPS General Tribes: Ascend Invitational Tournament, $2500 in Cash Prizes!

FPSGeneral.com is proud to announce our partnership with Hi-Rez Studios to bring the FPS General Tribes: Ascend Invitational Tournament!

This is going to be a Tribes: Ascend tournament for the ages, with incredible prizes and some of the world's greatest professional gaming teams facing off in Tribes: Ascend action. The worlds fastest first-person shooter gets even more exciting when $2500 is at stake and that is exactly what the prize purse is for the Invitational.

16 teams will face off, battling it out in Capture the Flag game modes on all of the available Tribes: Ascend CTF maps. Teams will be 7 vs 7, but rosters max out at 10 players, leaving you room for 3 substitute players if you so choose to use them.

These 16 teams will compete in Best out of 3 Capture the Flag matches until only one team reigns victorious.

Registration will begin on Monday, June 4th so make sure you follow us on Facebook and Twitter for updates straight to your favorite social network feed. We will be providing a full set of rules next week, so be sure to stay tuned for that.

We are inviting some of the world's most renowned Tribes: Ascend teams, but there will also be open spots for full teams interested in competing for the glory and the cash. The entire event is going to be streamed live on Tribes Nation, our Tribes: Ascend Twitch.tv channel. So if you can't get a team together to compete, rest assured that you'll be able to take part in the stream just the same.

During the event, we will be giving away codes for Tribes: Ascend gold and weapons, as well as some other really fun prizes, both for live stream viewers and our competitors. A full list of prizes will be made available soon, so make sure you check back in with us next week!

We're looking forward to our very first Tribes: Ascend tournament and can't wait to open up registration next week. Special thanks to Hi-Rez Studios and our amazing users for making the tournament possible! We will have a full list of rules and regulations next week, when we open up registrations to the general public.
