• Bungie Studios Hires Ex-Rockstar Games Developer For Next Project

    Bungie Studios has subtly announced the hiring of ex-Rockstar Games developer, Danny Bulla, to work on their next project. We have literally no idea what Bungie is working on, aside from the fact that we'll buy whatever it is at midnight on the day it ships because it's Bungie.

    Danny Bulla has been pulled in specifically to work on the sandbox aspects of the upcoming project, with Bungie having liked his previous work on Red Dead Redemption.

    Whatever Bungie is currently working on, we know that it's part of their 10-year exclusivity deal with Activision that will see the new franchise being published on multiple platforms - something that is sure to be a breath of fresh air to Bungie after so many years releasing Halo games exclusively on Xbox 360.

    With regards to Mr. Bulla, Bungie said:

    We liked Red Dead Redemption so much that we hired Danny Bulla to come here and help us fill your next sandbox. He’s doing some amazing work and, so far, he hasn’t tried to lash any of us to a pair of railroad tracks.

    We'll keep you updated on Bungie's upcoming project, which is rumored to be an action shooter with MMO aspects.

  • Elijah Wood to Star in Red vs Blue Season 10

    Rooster Teeth, the design studio behind Red vs Blue - perhaps the most successul machinima series to date, has released a brand new trailer teasing Season 10 of the series.

    Red vs Blue, for those unfamiliar, is a fan-made machinima based aroudn Bungie's Halo series that began in 2003 and is now entering its tenth season. What better way to kick off your tenth season than the announcement of a special voice actor? Rooster Teeth unveiled their surprise voice actor and it's none other than Hollywood film star, Elijah Wood! You may know Wood from films such as the 1996 classic Flipper or perhaps as loveable Mike in Radio Flyer. Or Lord of the Rings. He was also in Lord of the Rings.

    Elijah Wood will be taking on the role of Sigma, an AI being that Elijah Wood himself describes as 'shifty and deceptive'. We'll be sure to do a follow up on Sigma and Season 10 when the series gets underway next month on Memorial Day - May 28th, 2012.
