BioShock developer Irrational Games has officially revealed the contents of the BioShock Infinite Collector's Editions. According to the press release this morning, these editions will go live for pre-orders starting on October 22nd, but we were able to pull them up on Gamestop.com with no problems.
Besides the standard edition of BioShock Infinite which will simply come with the game itself, 2K Games is going to be offering a Premium Edition and The Ultimate Songbird Edition. The packages are very similar, with the exception of the Songbird statue (seen above) which is only available in the Ultimate Songbird Edition.
Both packages contain:
- A 3-inch baby version keychain of the sold-out Murder of Crows vigor bottle replica.
- A 5 x 7-inch lithograph by Jorge Lacera.
- A 25 millimeter, resin-cast Handyman miniature from the upcoming BioShock Infinite board game by Plaid Hat Games, makers of Summoner Wars.
- A mini art book, full of BioShock Infinite concept art and commentary, with a hand-distressed cover.
- Various digital goodies: exclusive in-game gear, a digital soundtrack, and platform specific downloadable content (Avatars for Xbox LIVE, and Themes for PC and PlayStation 3).
As mentioned above, the Ultimate Songbird Edition contains everything listed above with the addition of the Songbird statue, which stands 9 1/2" tall.
The Premium Edition will retail at $74.99 while the Ultimate Songbird Edition is going for $149.99.
