Irrational Games has announced that they will be released an eBook next month that will serve as a prequel to the events in BioShock Infinite. The eBook, entitled BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt, was penned by Irrational Games' writer and creative director Joe Fielder and Ken Levine.
We don't have much information yet as to what the story entails, and whether or not it will feature Booker and Elizabeth from the game or a different cast of characters. All we know at this point is that Mind in Revolt will provide "insight into the mysterious sky-city of Columbia prior to the events of BioShock Infinite."
With the writing being handled directly by Ken Levine and Joe Fielder, however, we're pretty confident that it will be more than worth the meager price tag being assigned to it.
BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt will be available digitally for Amazon Kindle devices for just $2.99. While the price is certainly great, keep in mind that the eBook is going to be roughly 30 pages in length so most readers will tackle it in one sitting. If you're planning on picking up BioShock Infinite and haven't pre-ordered the game yet, know that doing so at Amazon.com will earn you a free copy of BioShock Infinite: Mind in Revolt.
