Gearbox has announced that original Borderlands players will be getting some exclusive customization options in Borderlands 2, as a way to say thank you to veteran Borderland fans.
The customization come as a part of Gearbox's Vault Veterans rewards program. When you fire up Borderlands 2 for the first time this X, the game will look for a save game file from the first Borderlands game. When it finds that save game file, the bonus customization options will automatically be made available. As of right now, players will have exclusive player skins and heads to choose from, that won't be available to non-veteran players.
