
The legend himself, Ken Levine, has issued a statement regarding BioShock: Infinite and the development process. Unfortunately, his message isn't the best for fans who are anxiously awaiting the next entry in the iconic BioShock franchise. The game has been pushed back to February 26th, 2013 from a previously announced October, 2012 release date.
These decisions are never easy, but Levine aptly explains what went on behind the scenes with this decision and how it will affect the finished product. Irrational Games is not a developer that will rush a game and release a half-hearted project, and we'll take a delayed final product over an on-time rushed project any day.
