Yesterday, Microsoft emailed 32 'puzzle pieces' to a group of die-hard Halo fanatics. Each sliver was a small portion of the image above (click to enlarge) and turned out to be the official box art for Halo 4!

The cover art features everyone's favorite Spartan, Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, or more simply; Master Chief. Chief can be seen on the ground in his armor, with his assault rifles, as if he just landed there - ready for action. In the background we can get a glimpse of Forward Unto Dawn, the wrecked UNSC ship that Cortana and Chief are on as the story in Halo 4 begins.
