
Activision has announced a partnership with Tencent Holdings to bring Call of Duty Online to Chinese gamers. The game has been in development for two years under the guidance of Activision and Tencent.
Call of Duty Online takes the classic Call of Duty gameplay, fast and addicting, and caters it to the Chinese gaming community. With Tencent's history in Chinese gaming, it makes a lot of sense for Activision to seek their expertise. CEO Bobby Kotick agrees, saying:

Tencent has a terrific track record of customer-focused innovation and deep market knowledge that will be invaluable to Activision as we build great games for China. We have worked closely with Tencent to create a game with broad appeal for the Chinese market.
