  • Watch Two Transformers Battle On Your Very Doorstep

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to look out your front window and see Grimlock the Dinobot and Shockwave of the Decepticons from Transformers doing battle on your very street, you're in luck. If you haven't wondered that, you really should have. Imagine the damage this might have done to your property.

High Moon Studios and Activision have just announced http://www.transformersonyourstreet.com/, a brand new tool that takes any address you enter into it and generates a Transformers battle using Google Street View style imagery. The tool is pretty effective for what it is and is an excellent way to kill twenty minutes while you put in some of your most well known addresses.

    Matt Tieger, High Moon Studios

TRANSFORMERS: FALL OF CYBERTRON is set amidst an apocalyptic war between the AUTOBOTS and DECEPTICONS that ultimately sees the planet decimated. We wanted to give TRANSFORMERS fans an even more personal experience that would allow them to truly understand the epic scale of the battle and the size of these two enemies as they unleash fury on each other on Earth.”

Check out Transformers: Fall of Cybertron at http://www.transformersgame.com/ and visit the link above to watch an epic battle unfold on your street.

  • Preview Transformers: Fall of Cybertron's DLC Offerings

    • By NateRios 9/11/2012 9:48:05 PM

If you've been wondering what Activision and High Moon Studios have up their sleeves to prolong the life of their recently released third-person shooter, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, wonder no more. The team has released a DLC trailer for Fall of Cybertron, showing off all of the announced DLC that the game will be seeing.

It is unclear whether this is all of the DLC that Transformers: Fall of Cybertron will be getting, or if this is just a recap of what High Moon has already announced.

Either way, the video shows us the Multiplayer Havoc pack which was released last month; the Dinobot Destructor pack which launched just this morning and brings Dinobots to multiplayer and, finally, the Massive Fury Pack which is due to launch on September 25th and actually brings Insecticons into play.

Check out the trailer above and visit your platform's digital store to pick up Dinobot Destructor and Multiplayer Havoc, which are available now.

  • Dinobots Rampaging into Transformers: Fall of Cybertron September 11th

Dinobots are officially making their arrival in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron starting on September 11th, with the arrival of the Dinobot Destructor Pack DLC.

The DLC will include Grimlock, Snarl and Slug - all three of which were featured in the singleplayer portion of Fall of Cybertron. Up until now, if you wanted to get your Dinobot fix, you could only do it in singleplayer so it will be great to see them making an appearance in multiplayer.

If you're expecting to roll with Grimlock and dominate the opposition, be advised that the Dinobots have been meticulously balanced in multiplayer - something that has been in motion for months. The decision to include Dinobots in multiplayer was one that Game Director Matt Tieger initially vetoed, saying that it was simply impossible to incorporate them into multiplayer properly.

Well, some of the team on Fall of Cybertron opted to put in an extra weekend of hard work and, as Tieger says, "I came in on Monday morning and there was a tyrannosaurus-rex running around in multiplayer. I have never been happier to have been proven wrong."

The rest is history, and the rest of the world will be able to see the fruits of High Moon Studios' labors on Tuesday, September 11th. In the meantime, check out some concept art below as well as few screens with the Dinobots in action.

  • Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Multiplayer Trailer Released

High Moon Studios has released a brand new trailer for the multiplayer component of their upcoming third-person shooter, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

If you've been following Activision's Transformers franchise over the past few years, you'll know that this is a pretty exciting title for a few reasons. To start with, High Moon Studios does two types of Transformers games; if there is a Transformers film coming out, they will do a game adaptation of the movie. If there is no Transformers film - as is the case this year - they are able to do an original story and video game.

In 2010, High Moon Studios released Transformers: War for Cybertron, an original story that tells of the last battle for Cybertron, the Transformers home world. War for Cybertron was a great game, everything about it was great; the story, the mechanics, the multiplayer, it had everything going for it. Fall of Cybertron is a direct sequel to that game, and we couldn't be more excited for that.

  • Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Through the Matrix Trailer Shows Off Metroplex

    • By NateRios 7/5/2012 4:51:17 PM

Metroplex is easily one of the most exciting things about Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and that is saying something as this is the game that will also be bringing Dinobots along for the ride.

In this trailer, we get another good look at Metroplex as he transforms from a city to an Autobat. Alongside Metroplex, the Through the Matrix trailer features a ton of gameplay taken from Sony's PlayStation 3. In the game, players will take part in the last battle of the Transformers' home planet, Cybertron.

Check out Metroplex and all of the Transformers in action in the trailer above and drop by the forums to discuss!

  • Brand New Cinematic Trailer Released For Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

    • By NateRios 6/7/2012 5:29:29 PM
    • Category IconTransformers: Fall of Cybertron
    • 0

With no major announcements out of the Transformers: Fall of Cybertron camp at E3 this year, the team has made up for that a bit with a brand new cinematic trailer.

The first cinematic trailer, as you may recall it, was a gem and one of our favorite video game trailers released in a long while. While this new trailer lacks the raw emotion of that first cinematic experience, it more than makes up for it with the appearance of Metroplex at the end (spoiler, he's a city). We also get glimpses of the Dinobots in action at various points in the trailer. Much like the first cinematic trailer, it feels like the Decepticons are continually getting the upper hand in this final battle of the planet Cybertron.

  • Update: Transformers: Fall of Cybertron to Release on PC

    • By NateRios 6/1/2012 10:33:34 PM
    • Category IconTransformers: Fall of Cybertron
    • 0

When Transformers: Fall of Cybertron was initially announced, developer High Moon Studios informed the world that no PC version of the game would be developed. Rather than release a game that wasn't up to High Moon standards, the team decided to just forgo the game on PC altogether!

That has all changed, however, and High Moon Studios has announced a partnership with Mercenary Games that will see a PC version of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron released alongside its console counterparts! The PC version of the game will launch on August 28th, just like the console versions of the game, and will feature all of the same content and gameplay, simply made available on PC.

We'll have hands on with Transformers: Fall of Cybertron when the game launches on August 28th, 2012 and hopefully the game will make an appearance at E3 2012 next week!

  • Grimlock Isn't The Only Dinobot in These Transformers: Fall of Cybertron Screenshots

Activision and High Moon Studios have released a brand new batch of Transformers: Fall of Cybertron screenshots, this time showing off some Dinobots not named Grimlock in their upcoming third-person shooter.

Don't get us wrong, we love Grimlock and can't wait to actually play as the behemoth himself, but it's great to see some of the other - lesser known - Dinobots getting some love. All in all, the screenshots give us our first glimpse at Slug, Swoop and Snarl as well as some more shots of the T-Rex himself, Grimlock.

Take a look at the rest of the screenshots and be sure to view the full gallery using the navigation below. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is set to hit shelves on August 28th, 2012.

  • High Moon Studios Goes Behind the Scenes on Grimlock from Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

High Moon Studios is hard at work on the next entry into their popular Transformers franchise, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron.

Fall of Cybertron is a direct sequel to High Moon Studios' Transformers: War for Cybertron, which saw the Autobots and Decepticons battling for control over their homeworld of Cybertron. In Fall of Cybertron, the player will fight through the last battle of Cybertron which leads to the ultimate demise of their beloved homeworld. The story, alone, is enough to get us pumped up for the game but on top of that, one of the most exciting aspects of the game is Grimlock, the Dinobot.
