Is BioShock Infinite Too Violent?
Violence in video games is without a doubt the biggest issue that our industry - and this genre in particular - faces at the moment. With horrifying tragedies of wanton gun violence cropping up in the headlines on a weekly basis, everyone needs a scapegoat. The finger of blame has to point somewhere, so why not at video games? To make things more complicated, games are becoming increasingly more violent, it seems. While you do have games like ShootMania Storm that take a much milder approach to first-person shooters, you also end up with games like BioShock Infinite, the subject of this video. Are violent video games to blame for these atrocities being committed every week around the world?
Or are they simply the easiest place to lay the blame?

MOGA - Product Preview - PAX East
We're getting some incredibly good-looking and quality first-person shooters on smaller devices these days. The only problem is that, pretty much 100% of the time, the control scheme sucks and they aren't fun to play at all. Shooters are too complex for two invisible thumb-sticks and a gamepad on the touchscreen.Enter the MOGA.
The MOGA allows you to snap in your smartphone and play your games with a full sized game pad, completely with all of the buttons, triggers and thumbsticks that you would expect from an Xbox 360 controller or any other modern gamepad.
This weekend at PAX, James had a chance to talk with Sal of MOGA to discuss the device.

Behind the Scenes: The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct
Go behind the scenes with Daryl and Merle Dixon - scratch that, make that Derle and Merle Dixon on The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. It is neat to see Norman Reedus and Michael Rooker talking about the game. The actors seem genuinely thrilled to be a part of the game, which is pretty awesome and makes us hopeful that the game is more than a cheesy tie-in. More often than not, these licensed games are little more than a way to make bags of cash for the publisher and license holder.
The game launches on Tuesday, March 19th on Xbox 360, PC and Wii U. -
